These terms set out what you can expect from Minnis & Company and what we ask of you. They apply to all services we provide. By making a payment, you agree to these terms.
Minnis & Company designs and builds one-page websites for small businesses. Depending on the service you choose, we may also host and maintain your site on an ongoing basis.
We design and build a single-page, mobile-friendly website for your business. The site includes your business name, services, contact details, photos, and a call-to-action. We write the content based on your existing online presence and your input. You receive up to 3 rounds of revisions. Once approved, the completed website files are handed over to you. You own everything. Typical turnaround is 3 to 5 working days from content sign-off.
One-Page Website Premium — £199 (one-time payment)Everything included in the standard one-page website, with a more refined design tailored to your brand. You receive up to 5 rounds of revisions, priority turnaround of 2 to 3 working days, and a launch checklist to help you get started after handover.
Managed Website Essential — £25 per monthWe design, build, host, and maintain a single-page website for your business. Hosting and an SSL certificate are included at no additional cost. You receive up to 2 minor content updates per month, such as changes to phone numbers, opening hours, or photos. We monitor your site and fix any issues. Email support is provided with a response time of 1 to 2 working days.
Managed Website Pro — £40 per monthEverything included in the Essential plan, with up to 5 content updates per month, priority support with a response time within 24 hours, a quarterly design refresh, Google Business Profile setup and basic optimisation, and a monthly performance check.
We will help you choose and register a suitable domain name. The domain is registered in your name and you own it. The cost of domain registration is not included in our fees and is payable separately by you, typically around £10 to £15 per year. If you end your service with us, your domain remains yours.
To deliver your website, we need your cooperation in a timely manner. This includes approving content and design within a reasonable timeframe, providing any photos, logos, or specific text you would like included, and responding to our messages within 5 working days during the build process. If we do not hear from you within 14 days during an active project, we may consider the project complete and deliver the site in its current state.
Revisions cover reasonable changes to content, layout, and design within the scope of a one-page website. A revision is a set of changes requested at one time. Requests for a complete redesign or a fundamentally different website are not covered and would be quoted separately.
One-time payments are due in full before work begins. Monthly managed plans are billed on the same date each month, starting from the date of your first payment. All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are in GBP and inclusive of all fees. We are not currently VAT registered.
There is no minimum contract term for managed plans. You may cancel at any time by giving us 30 days written notice by email. Upon cancellation, we will provide you with your website files and assist with transferring your domain if needed. Your site will remain live until the end of your final paid month.
You own your domain name, your content, and your photos. Upon completion or cancellation, you own the website files we created for you. We retain the right to display your site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
We build websites, not full marketing solutions. We are not responsible for how much traffic your site receives, your search engine ranking, email hosting or setup, social media management, or any third-party services such as domain registrars or hosting providers you may use after handover.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost business.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make changes that affect your current service, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
